"The Voice of Nigeria" Poem by Nwoko Solomon Ikechukwu

I am the voice that cries in Africa The voice that spoke for her freedom The voice that advocated against her inhumanity And now, I call for her peace and unity I am the voice that cries out of the valleys The voice that calls from the mountains And now, I call on my child Nigeria And his children Nigerians Who is my first born The apparent heir to the throne of Africa From the continent of Africa I conceived you In the west of Africa I bore you Unique and great among your brethren I made you With many talents and gifted hands I endowed you With numerous descendants and multicultural-language I ornamented you And with numerous gifted hands and gift of nature I beautified you The jealousy of they on the mountains I made you to be The envy of them in the valleys I bore you to be The earnest desire and dream of they around I fashioned you to be Oh! My beloved son-Nigeria What went wrong? Do not use your armor of defense As armor of offensive attack on one anothe

THE REASON WHY GREAT NUMBER OF NDI-IGBO WILL NOT SUPPORT BIAFRA; BY NWOKO SOLOMON IKECHUKWU

It is not bad or a crime for people to feel being left alone (independent) to stay on their own, organize themselves and use their human and natural (God given) resources to better their land and people. Nigeria ones felt that way when they were in the hands of, or under the British lord during the colonial era. They protested in words, writing, non-violent actions and demonstrations. After long run, Nigeria and her people became independent and began governing herself. However, the following that enable Nigeria to gain her independence must be noted. 1. Nigeria understood who Nigerians are/were. 2. The land or territory that belong to Nigeria were clear mapped out. 3. Nigerian independent pioneers were able to convince other Nigerians that we need freedom from our colonial masters, and were able to carry everybody along in this fight. 4. Nigeria did not force any uninterested people (nation, tribe or race) to become Nigeria; those who became, did by their own free will and under t

HOW TO AUTHOR BEST SELLER BOOKS

2. How to Develop a Conceived Idea into a Book It is one thing to conceive the idea of what to write, and another thing to develop the idea into a book. There are people who have conceived wonderful and interesting ideas of what to write, but they are faced with the challenges of how to develop these wonderful and interesting ideas into books. Here, we will discuss briefly how one can develop his ideas into a book worthy of reading and enjoying. Every book or story are written from the true life perspective of events, even if the book or story is fiction. That is, books are written as though the events in it are real or from true life account even when the events in the books are not real or did not occur in the real world event. When one conceives in his/her mind the idea of what to write, one of the best ways of developing the idea into a book is to create in one's mind for the book, environments, characters, factors, settings, styles, dialogues, monologues, problems and if pos

YOUNG PEOPLE OF NIGERIA ARISE!

I want to take this time to talk to the young people of Nigeria, especially the youth. We have allowed ourselves to be used and most times misused. We are hypnotized and deceived into fighting ourselves for nothing. Where and what we have directed our weapons at are not the causes of our problems. I have earlier pointed out that political and religious problems are not directly caused by Satan, but by selfish men and women (some political and religious leaders) who make a fortune or gain (wealth, fame, and power) from it. The problem we have in our nation is not the youth of various tribes of the nation (southern, eastern, or northern youths). It is not traders, market, or business youths, men and women who are in another state rather than their state within the nation. These people are assets to the economic development of our nation. Though they raise money in the state where they are residing to take care of their family, yet they in many ways add immensely to the economic and infra
